Why should you give to Glimmerglass Film Days?

Our goal is to develop Glimmerglass Film Days into a world class curated event that will attract visitors and new residents to the Otsego region by raising the profile of our distinctive natural and historical environment and offering thought-provoking films and opportunities to explore our history and the outdoors. Otsego 2000 is delighted to present Glimmerglass Film Days annually in early November with "pop-up" events throughout the year. The films are selected by Peggy Parsons and the steering committee explore the complex relationship between humanity and the natural world. More than a dozen films and discussions explore our natural and built environments, and include documentaries, classic features, shorts and experimental films. The schedule includes hikes, walks, and food events to explore the history and environment of the Otsego region.
