Join Otsego Land Trust volunteer and Brookwood extraordinaire Ed Rowley on a walk and talk through time. As a property, Brookwood Point has worn many hats since the estate was established on Otsego Lake in the 1820s. On this tour through history, you will stroll along 100-year old Italianate garden beds and explore the charming arts-and-crafts style Garden House as Ed tells the story of Brookwood: from the time of Native American presence, to the founding of Cooperstown, to OLT’s ownership of the site today. The tour will begin at the Garden House at 3:30pm, and should last approximately one hour. Photo credit: Pat Thorpe.
