Audience Favorite
The Film Days audience selected “Devil Put the Coal in the Ground” (Lucas Sabean, Peter Hutchison, 2022, USA, 80 minutes) and “The Automat” (Lisa Hurwitz, 2021, USA, 79 minutes) for the Audience Choice Winners.
We were delighted to have Lucas Sabean and Peter Hutchison (Devil Put the Coal in the Ground) and Lisa Hurwitz (The Automat) here in Cooperstown to discuss their films. The Film Days audience loves being able to interact with filmmakers and get a behind-the-scenes view on filmmaking. Interestingly, almost all of the 28 film events we offered received as least one vote for "best film."
More about 2022 filmmakers, presenters and musicians. The 10th Glimmerglass Film Days also featured the art exhibition Luminosity/Luminous Streets at the Smithy and in shop windows along Pioneer and Main Streets.
